Mile High Medical Society

Since 1965, the Mile High Medical Society (MHMS) has uplifted physicians, empowered future healthcare leaders, and advanced health equity for underserved communities—because care begins with connection. Their mission is to support and mentor physicians, inspire the next generation of healthcare professionals, and champion equitable care through mentorship, advocacy, and community engagement.

MHMS has been one of our most amazing partners in the realm of medicine. Over the years, we’ve had the privilege of working together on multiple occasions, including bringing a panel of doctors to Thomas Jefferson High School to lead an interactive “Day in the Life of a Doctor” program. This event gave students hands-on exposure to the world of medicine and helped spark interest in medical careers.

We are especially grateful for the leadership and friendship of Dr. Johnny Johnson, the long-time founder of MHMS. He has not only served as a trusted mentor but has also been a true friend, guiding us with wisdom, encouragement, and a shared passion for uplifting the next generation.

Colorado Miners

Founded in 2004, the Colorado Miners is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting today’s youth by fostering responsibility, self-worth, confidence, and leadership. Their mission is to provide young people with educational, social, fitness, and athletic opportunities that set them up for happy, healthy, and productive lives.

We are proud to call the Colorado Miners one of our valued partners. Beyond their athletic programs, their community-centered approach aligns closely with our vision of empowering the next generation. Together, we work to inspire and equip youth with the tools and values they need to thrive—in school, in sports, and in life.

Be Different Foundation

Founded by former University of Denver point guard and current G League player Tommy Bruner, the Be Different Foundation blends a love for basketball with a deep commitment to community. What began as a high school T-shirt slogan encouraging kids to stand out has grown into a nonprofit that empowers youth to embrace their individuality, give back, and lead with purpose.

Tommy has remained active in the community, building connections and launching initiatives that inspire young people to aim higher and believe in their potential. We are honored to partner with Be Different in supporting the next generation as they pursue excellence on and off the court.
